CHARTERED LINGUIST STATUS

In May 2010 I was granted Chartered Linguist (Interpreter) status. There are only 7 interpreters in the whole of the United Kingdom in all languages who have been granted this honour. This involves a continuous and highly rigorous examination of my practice as an interpreter. What is particularly satisfying for me is that CL(I) status can only be awarded by interpreter peers at the very highest level of their profession. I have a Practicing Certificate in French, Spanish and English.
